APEC to Expand Cooperation in New Areas, Including Data Resource Development and Utilization

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Data Administration recently hosted a data-focused event as part of APEC Digital Weeks. For the first time, they held high-level policy discussions under the theme of “Data for Growth” and issued the APEC Data for Growth High-Level Roundtable Chair’s Statement. Going forward, APEC economies will actively expand cooperation into new areas, including the development and utilization of data resources.
