　　It was announced at the media briefing on the Telecommunications, Computer, and Information Services section of the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (2025 CIFTIS), held on August 12, that the Thematic Exhibition on Telecommunications, Computer & Information Services will be held from September 10 to 14 at the Shougang Park in Beijing.

　　The thematic exhibition, themed “Digital Intelligence Connecting the World,” will focus on digital trade in services and high-end, precision, and cutting-edge industries. Exhibition areas will be set up around fields such as telecommunications services, digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), humanoid robots, the low-altitude intelligent network (LAIN), and technology innovation incubation for both “bringing in” and “going global” in international trade in services, showcasing new technologies and experiences to drive the growth of trade in services.

　　Wang Jianbo, Level II Bureau Rank Official at the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, said the thematic exhibition will span around 10,000 square meters, bringing together over 100 in-person exhibitors and nearly 300 online participants. These include 44 Fortune Global 500 companies and other industry leaders such as China Unicom, China Mobile, Alibaba, and HKT, along with 27 international exhibitors from more than 10 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, and Canada. The event will spotlight key sectors in international economics and trade, including AI, robotics, intelligent manufacturing, and technology parks.

　　According to Sun Lixin, Level II Bureau Rank Official at the Beijing Communications Administration, China Unicom, China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Tower will once again lead the technological frontier at the CIFTIS, showcasing the latest achievements in the dual 10-gigabit networks of 5G-A and F5G-A. These will include applications in low-altitude economy, autonomous driving, ultra-HD video, smart homes, and smart cities, as well as mainstream digital economy technologies such as digital-native solutions, cross-regional computing power interconnection, and large AI models—enhanced by richer, more interactive experiences. The event will also feature a series of professional forums focused on expanding global cooperation in value-added telecom services, driving digital transformation of enterprises with large models, and fostering the high-quality growth of computing power services.

　　“2025 is a defining year for AI, as it moves from theory into practice and scales up for widespread adoption, with integrated innovation as the key driver of a new era of intelligence,” said Qin Yang, Party Committee member and Deputy General Manager of the China Unicom Beijing Branch. He noted that China Unicom is upgrading its mobile networks from 5G to 5G-A and its broadband from gigabit to 10-gigabit, delivering greater connectivity and higher speeds to power AI’s deeper integration into real-world scenarios and the incubation of new applications. At the 2025 CIFTIS, China Unicom will showcase its latest strengths in dual 10-gigabit networks, cloud computing, and the Yuanjing Large Model.

　　The thematic exhibition will also feature a series of industry salons and international economic and trade negotiations. Buyers from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas will be invited to engage in face-to-face discussions and exchanges with Chinese companies, focusing on sectors such as telecommunications services, AI, cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
